About
Thirty years ago I started building — not knowing that was what I was doing.
The Story
I am a writer, artist, and builder based in the UK. Caribbean by heritage, community broadcaster by history, and creative systems thinker by practice. Over thirty years I developed original frameworks and created fourteen digital platforms — each one an answer to something that didn't exist yet.
The work has always been the same work: making culture visible, making possibility legible, making tools for the people who need them.
The Practice
Art. Writing. Building. Not three disciplines — one practice.
My digital art begins in deep conversation — with history, with identity, with the image as it wants to exist. My essays on cultural capital explore the systems beneath community life. My platforms — Intona, Heartbeat Bond, Kindred Wealth — each carry the same intention: that the right thing, made with care, reaches the person it was made for.
Beyond the Screen
Intricate Lego constructions. Community broadcasting. Event curation.
The medium changes; the precision and the purpose don't.
